The company has just released its first set of European Top 20 figures for October, showing Sunseeker, Zodiac and Azimut lead the way in new boat searches, while Fairline joins Sunseeker and Azimut in the top three for pre-owned searches.

Beneteau, Jeanneau, and Bavaria take the top three spots for new sailboats, with Dufour moving up to take over the third spot in pre-owned.

"It is going to be fascinating to watch the trends over the coming months, with so many first class businesses jostling for contention in this unique barometer of marine industry activity, " said Ian Atkins, managing director of boats.com's international operations.

According to boats.com, potential boat owners and participants visited the company's sites more than 1.4 million times, searching through more than 37 million pages of boat listings, specifications and content related to boating.

The company will update its Top 20 lists monthly, offering a snapshot of what consumers are looking for.
