Ex-Lewmar man Mark Chapple is operations director for the company, which is developing the Ringprop, an innovative propeller designed by Australian Norman Hurley to be safer in use than conventional, open-bladed props. The new company is investigating composite construction. "We don't expect to be manufacturing in large quantities until the third quarter of 2003, " said Chapple, "so we don't have contracts with manufacturers or distributors yet."
