Scanstrut sales up 20%
01 Dec 2002
Talking at METS last month, Scanstrut general manager, Tom Reed, said the company's sales have risen 20% in the past year.
But Reed would not translate the increase into figures. "We have had to cut prices by 10% to stay competitive in Europe, " he told .The increase, said Reed, is down to growth in the domestic and US markets, plus the introduction of new models.
"We 're introducing new products every couple of months, " he said, indicating the company's new radar pole mount.
"It offers greater mounting flexibility with a hinged base that allows the pole to be mounted on sloping or curved surfaces."
