Built-in stove saves worktop space

Swedish company, Dometic Origo AB, produces a twoburner, built-in stove that gives more worktop space when not in use and provides a pressure-free heat source.

The Origo 4100 built-in stove fits into a 575 mm wide x 140 mm high x 325 mm deep cutout. A large steel box stores the fuel tank under the tilting top section.

The fuel tank holds 1.2 litres of alcohol, which is enough for 4 to 5 hours of cooking.

The stove measures 623 mm wide x 150 mm high x 377 mm deep. It's made of stainless steel and takes 10 minutes to boil 1 litre of water and is equivalent to a 2,000-watt electric stove.

Optional accessories include a kitchen utensil holder that fits into tailored mounting holes, a wood cutting board that folds down onto the stove and a black toughened glass cover that hinges at the rear.
