Care products keep wet and drysuits clean and fresh

Typhoon says wetsuits and drysuits can get a new lease of life with help from its new Care4 range of products The products have been designed to make wearing and caring for suits just that bit easier, say Typhoon, and help prolong the life of both wetsuits and drysuits by reducing the damage caused by the elements and general wear and tear.

The full range under the Typhoon brand comprises Shampoo4suits, Silicone Spray, Care4zips, Care4seals and Care4vision.

Shampoo4suits is a biodegradable shampoo that removes salt deposits, dirt, oils and chlorine and helps preserve neoprene, rubber, nylon and lycra.

It also helps to remove odours, reduce colour fading and makes suit entry easier.

Silicon Spray lubricates and protects metal and makes suit entry easier.

Care4zips is a non-silicone product that provides a protective coating to prolong the life of zips.

Care4seals preserves and lubricates rubber seals in areas of high wear, such as gaskets, O-rings and drysuit seals. Regular use will help to slow down the aging process and prevent cracking of the rubber.

Many other rubber products exposed to extreme conditions can also benefit from regular applications of Care4seals, say Typhoon.

Care4vision prevents fogging on dive masks and can even be used on spectacles and other glass or plastic surfaces. It also helps to clean away salt deposits and other marks from the goggles, but is not suitable for use on contact lenses or swimming goggles.
