ICOMIA names new secretary general

Subject to ratification by ICOMIA members at the AGM in Sydney on May 29, Colonel Tony Rice will replace Donkin.
Rice actually started work at ICOMIA on May 20, giving a two month overlap for the handover from Donkin.
Colonel Rice is currently in the process of retiring from the British Army and is currently completing a post graduate diploma in management with the University of Leicester Business School.
He is a 1996 graduate of the US Army War College and a 1987 graduate from the UK Joint Service Defence College. He has also been chief, Strategic Assessments, Intelligence Division, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers, Europe, based in Brussels.
From 1996-1999 he was chief military adviser to the commander, Kuwait Land Forces, Kuwait.
According to ICOMIA, Rice has extensive managerial, planning, operational and training experience in different international environments.
