New suit on the horizon
01 Jun 2002
The Horizon jacket is made in Pulse fabric, says H-L. A new addition to the company's breathable range, H-L says Pulse is a highly breathable and lightweight waterproof fabric designed especially for coastal and dinghy sailing.
The fabric uses a specially formulated breathable coating that contains ceramic particles, which allow the rapid release of vapour, ensuring the wearer is dry and comfortable.
An additional Durable Water Repellancy (DWR) treatment is applied to the fabric to help shed surface water.
The Horizon jacket has 100% waterproof taped seams, lightweight lining with mesh drainage, high visibility foldaway lined hood, fleece lined collar, storm flap with drainage channel, reflective tape on hood and storm flap, inner Dartex adjustable storm cuffs, lower cargo pockets with integral fleece lined handwarmer pockets and a secure zip fastening inside chest pocket.
The jacket is available in marine with yellow trim, yellow with marine trim and red with marine trim. Guide price: £140.00.
The matching Horizon hifit trouser also has 100% waterproof taped seams, non corrosive zip, elasticated backwaist, wide adjustable elasticated braces, high tenacity cordura reinforcement on the seat and external adjustable ankle cuffs.
Available in marine and red. Guide price: £100.00.
