Ocean Safety in Remploy tie-up

Ocean Safety has entered into a new venture with specialist employer, Remploy, to manufacture its Kestrel and Commodore lifejacket models at Remploy's pant in Poole.

The Kestrel and Commodore are both well-proven in the market place, replacing the Osprey and Fulmar brand names formerly distributed by Sowester.

Remploy is the largest employer of people with disabilities in the UK. The operation in Poole employs 65 people and, in addition to the Commodore and Kestrel, produces Ocean Safety's own range of children's lifejackets and buoyancy aids.

"We are delighted to be expanding our relationship with Remploy, " commented Ocean Safety director Charlie Mill.
