The PS1-X is a 1Kg dry powder extinguisher with a recommended price of £18.49. For larger boats - and for domestic use - the PS2-X is a 2 Kg dry powder model with a RRP of £45.99.

Hammerite says both models have comfortable pistol grips, easy-to-read pressure gauges and come with fixing brackets.

They are CE marked to marine equipment directive MED 96/98/EC, are certified to EN3 and comply with all relevant European directives.
