Inward mission of buyers hailed a great success

The inward mission of buyers, which took in the Marine Trade Show at Windsor, was very successful with over 40 British companies and 14 overseas buyers taking part in over 180 appointments.

The buyers attended from the US, Australia, New Zealand, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Poland and Croatia. Most said they had seen products that interested them and they would definitely be buying British.

"The mission was well organised and the atmosphere was friendly and conducive to getting business done, " commented Bill Lowe from Boat US, one of the buyers over from the US.

Clive Johnson, from Tacktick, one of the British companies taking part, added: "The mission was very well run with great time keeping. There was also a good mix of buyers, some being importers as well Original Equipment Manufacturers/ dealers."
