Opal Marine breaks show sales record

Opal Marine posted record results from the Southampton Boat Show. Following a highly successful 2001 show, Opal says this year passed all expectations with 240 deposits taken during the show, showing a substantial increase on last year and a potential value of £15m.
Gowing: beyond expectations
"Our figures compared with 2001 are well beyond expectations with Bavaria 69% up, " said managing director Julian Gowing. "With many of the Legend boats now built in UK we were hoping that we might see a substantial increase in sales, but the 97% achieved is fantastic.
