The company's Germanmade barograph is housed in a mahogany case with glass sides and a polished brass handle. Weems & Plath says the single AA battery operated quartz movement is more accurate than traditional windup movements.

Readings are marked with a felt tip pen that lasts 6-9 months and the barograph comes with a one year supply of weekly charts, one AA battery, and one felt tip pen.

Both inch and millibar charts are available and replacement pens and charts can be purchased separately.
