Sunsail orders equipment worth £1m
01 Nov 2002
The new equipment includes windsurfers, rigs, dinghies and catamarans and represents a major investment to encourage more people into watersports and to gain qualifications by undergoing RYA instructional courses.
The new windsurfing equipment will include new teaching boards at all of Sunsail's 10 watersports beach clubs.
Sunsail has chosen the new Starboard Starts with Tushingham teaching rigs, which are good looking, easy to use and make getting into windsurfing as a sport easier than ever.
For kids there is the new Starboard Kiddy board with a carbon mast and Tushingham Dino kids' rig which looks just like the mini version of an adult rig and will make windsurfing more fun for those children just starting the sport.
On the dinghy front, all Sunsail clubs will have the new Topaz Tazz, introduced by Topper on the Sunsail stand at the 2002 London Boat Show.
"We believe in giving our clients the best possible range of equipment to suit everyone from beginner to expert alike, " said Andrew Howard, Sunsail's sales and marketing director.
"This new kit will enhance the choices for the many thousands who holiday with us each year and will also encourage those who have not yet tried our product to have a go."
