Avon launches Bombard range

The new distribution arrangement means that Avon is now able to offer a comprehensive range of dual branded leisure craft from the budget PVC welded Bombard inflatables to the premium Hypalon, hand-built Avon range.
Avon showed AX tenders with slatted floor and - on the AX3 and AX4 - Bombard's Aerotec floor. This floor option, says Avon, offers the rigidity of a traditional floor, but has the advantage of being lighter, therefore offering better overall performance. It can be inflated and removed for easy assembly.
The AX Compact 3001 is a semi-rigid inflatable, while the 5-person Aerotec 380 is light, quick and easy to assemble and is very compact when folded.
The only Bombard RIB on display was the Explorer 530 F13 which, says Avon, runs happily with low powered, economical outboards and therefore make an ideal value for money, family boat.
