Compact genset from Beta

The Mini Generator was originally developed for the canal market, and its size makes it fairly easy to maintain with conventional diesel and conventional generator and Beta says at 658 x 503 x 571mm it fits nicely between the propulsion engine and accommodation, subject to design of course.
It has found favour with sea going customers where its rectangular shape lets it fit into spaces where only smaller and less conventional machines would otherwise have to be used.
The concept is simple and cost effective for certain space limitations. Beta says it has enabled some users to solve problems of power supply on a low budget where the use of a conventional generator is preferred.
