Titanium offers 50% weight reduction

German fittings manufacturer Niro-Petersen is now manufacturing in titanium as well as 316 stainless.
Titanium offers more strength than stainless at the weight of aluminium, says the company, so weight savings of up to 50% can be made.
The company says it can make almost all its fittings range in titanium and can cut new forms on its water-cutting machine.
