Two new from H-L at Southampton

Launched at Southampton as part of the company's Marine Technology Collection, HenriLloyd introduced its North Sea jacket and a Gore-Tex version of its deck coat.

The new North Sea Jacket is made in pulse fabric, developed by Henri-Lloyd. Described as a highly breathable, lightweight, waterproof and windproof fabric, it's already used in H-L's dinghy and coastal ranges launched earlier this year.

Pulse uses a specially formulated breathable coating that contains ceramic particles to allow the rapid release of vapour, ensuring the wearer is dry and comfortable.

An additional durable water repellency (DWR) treatment is applied to the fabric to help shed surface water.

The jacket is fleece lined and has a foldaway hood and fleece lined collar. The 100% waterproof jacket is designed with adjustable elasticated cuffs, articulated elbow panels, adjustable shock cord hem, zip handwarmer pockets and internal chest pocket.

Available in marine, sizes XSXXL. Guide price: £139.00.

The company's deck coat has been relaunched this season in Gore-Tex black label fabric. The company says using Gore-Tex technology, the new deck coat now offers exceptional levels of breathability and comfort and is 100% waterproof and windproof.

Available in graphite or navy, guide price: £199.90.
