Jets Marivent posts 49.59% sales boost

Jets Marivent, the Bombardier PWC to outboards business, increased 2003 1st quarter sales by 49.59%.
Sales increased from ? 6,455,028 in the same period 2002 to ? 9,656,087. The company is forecasting a turnover of nearly ? 50,000,000 in 2003, which would represent an increase of more than 28% over last year.
The individual product sales have grown as follows: Sea-Doo PWC sales increase by 22.15%;
Bombardier ATV sales increase by 37.96% and Johnson/ Evinrude outboard sales increase by 145.36%.
Parts and accessories also posted an increase of 59.80% over the same period last year.
The main increases came from:
UK & Eire sales increase by 58.74%; German sales increase by 179.01% and Spanish sales increase by 31.07%.
