Kent's role has been expanded, which means he will be dividing his time between the UK and Sweden as he takes up the position of group sales and marketing director for the entire Silva Group.

This has, in turn, meant moves among his senior management team, with Jim Deheer assuming the role of marketing manager for Silva Ltd with responsibility for all markets.

Murray MacIntyre will be commercial manager, covering all products, and Scott Beveridge continues in his key position as financial controller.

Manning the front line at the head office in Livingston are Carly Young, sales office manager; Kevin Thompson, marketing services; Ian Henderson, technical sales;

Susy Kerr, customer sales and services, with Sharon Mitchell and Julie Connelly handling accounts support and credit control.

Servicing and warranty issues continue to be the responsibility of Hugh Davies at the Silva Service Centre, with support provided by Ian Henderson at head office.

"The reorganisation is a key element of our move from a segmented market-driven approach to a product-led strategy, " said Kent. "These changes will enable us to further our market penetration in the UK and enhance the standards of service and delivery that we offer to all our customers."
