"We have a significant OEM market in Sweden and France, " he said, "but not in the UK."
Andersson says the current market for both companies in the UK is around £500,000 and the target is to increase that to £1.3 million. "If we're successful with one product, we're there, " he said.
Martin Bridger, ex-SimpsonLawrence and, more recently, Marathon Leisure, will be running the OEM operation.
"Martin will be the link between manufacturer and the OEM, " said Andersson. "He will have one person from Plastimo and one from XM backing him up, but he is essentially a oneman division."
Bridger will report to either Paul Callus at Plastimo, or Mark Acaster at XM, depending on the products he's working on at the time.
