Yanmar launches big diesels

Yanmar Marine unveiled the first of its new SY-STP series large capacity diesels at the Dusseldorf Boat Show.
The 720hp (530kW) unit - prototype name 6SY-STP720 - is the first engine from the cooperation between Yanmar Marine and Scania Industrial & Marine Engines, in which Scania blocks are being developed to Yanmar specifications.
