Opal recruiting for Troon office

Opal Marine is to open a new sales facility at Troon Yacht Haven in Scotland. The facility is due to be operational early this year and managing director Julian Gowing says the company is looking to fill a number of new jobs in the area.

Gowing: expand the business

"We are looking for other ways to expand the business, " said Gowing. "There is much evidence of a strong demand from Scottish customers and the opening of our Troon office will allow us to bring our special brand of service to the Scottish marketplace."

We hope to be announcing the appointment of our new Scottish sales team shortly, he said.

Opal has also recently doubled the size of its after sales department to enhance the company's customer care programme.

The Hampshire based company currently has offices on Hayling Island, in Gosport, Chichester and Ipswich to provide sales and service of Bavaria, Legend and Island Packet ranges of yachts.
