Marathon posts 26% increase

Marathon Leisure says it has seen a turnover increase of 26% in the 2002/2003 season.
This follows on, the company told BB , from the 2001/2 season which witnessed a substantial 55% growth.
Plans are in place to secure increases this coming season, with accurate predictions pointing towards further consolidated growth of 20%.
Tim Millinder, Marathon's managing director, says he is not surprised by the growth, telling BB : "Marathon's positive marketing strategy, high customer service levels and stock holding, combined with the launch in October 2002 of a new product catalogue, are all key to the company's successful performance."
