Rule's latest wins US innovation award

Rule re-engineered its RuleMate 1500 and 2000 so successfully that they won the US Marine industry Innovation Award.

The new large output RuleMate series from Jabsco are fully automated, all-in-one pumps and switch systems which can deliver outputs of up to 7750 litres per hour.

The pump can be left on continuous stand by with zero power drain. It is activated only when the non-contact, mercury free float switch detects water, but only after a programmed delay of two seconds, which eliminates false starts.

When the internal electronics sense there is no water load left on the impeller, the shut-off phase begins. At this point, what Rule call the Rule-Mate Spongeability feature causes the pump to run for a further 15 seconds, flushing out the last remaining water and reducing the bilge level to around 10mm, which they say is significantly lower than other similar sized pumps.

To ensure long trouble free operation, both models use Rule's exclusive moisture tight seals and are powered by extra long life, heavy duty motors that have an operational life in excess of 3000 hours.

Anti-airlock protection and easy clean, snap-lock strainer bases, with additional stainless steel inner strainers help to maintain maximum output.
