BEE covers the water front

Changes and expansion at Boat Electrics and Electronics Ltd, established over 20 years ago at Troon by Julian Coleman, now make it the main marine electronics firm on Scotland's west coast, writes Mike Balmforth .
The company covers the commercial shipping market, (55% of BEE's business), leisure (25%) and fishing (20%) markets from bases in Troon, Inverkip and Oban and from a new workshop recently established at Silvers Marine on the Gareloch.
Coleman's son Simon (22), who has been working in the North Sea offshore industry with Tidewater, is now running the company's Inverkip outlet, following the departure of long term employee Martin Baird.
