Industry regatta revived

The marine industry sailing regatta, which last ran in the early 90s, is to be resurrected.
Boating Business has already got a batch of Sunsail's Sun Fast 37s standing by and Sunsail will handle the race organisation.
The event will be based at Port Solent with the first race at 10.00. There will be four races with three to count. The boats are set up for a minimum crew of five and a maximum of eight.
The fleet will be back ashore by 17.00 for drinks and the prizegiving. After that, there will be the choice of staying for a dinner at the club or disappearing home.
The date has been set for the second Wednesday after Easter next year - Wednesday April 21.
