Marineware adds two

Southampton-based Marineware has added two new lines - Core-Cell and Rapidclear varnish from Epifanes.
Marineware says Core-Cell is the first structural foam designed specifically for the marine industry and uses new SAN polymers, rather than conventional PVC formulae derived from 1930s technology.
Among the boats built using Core-Cell are the two Assa Abloy Volvo boats built by Green Marine in female moulds, plus the two Amer Sports Volvo boats built in France by Composite Works.
Marineware already handles the full Epifanes range and has now added Rapidclear varnish for all woods above the waterline.
They say Rapidclear has the boast - 4 coats, 2 days, no sanding.
