Dutch firm launches small genset series
01 Mar 2003
The company has developed a new range of small marine gensets under the Triton brand name.
Powered by a Lister-Petter marine diesel engine, Trition gensets are available from 6.5 - 40 kVA at 1,500/1,800 rpm in single and three phase. The sets can be delivered in an open version on a skid frame and in a soundproofed version.
Cooling can be by built-in heat exchanger or keel cooling.
The units are delivered, says the company, 'ready to run', with options, such as a 24 volt electrical system and double sheathed fuel lines. Triton gensets can be delivered with a certificate of the classification society (LRS, GL, BV etc. ).
