With many exhaust systems designed specifically for individual vessels, Foster will assess customer requirements, pattern up the systems required, and return to the vessel with the manufactured bespoke product for trial fit, prior to final welding and installation on board.
Martin Payne has been appointed head of factory sales and marketing at Hunton Powerboats .Payne's responsibilities will include working with existing agents and appointing new agents worldwide. Based at Hunton's new factory in Romsey, Hampshire, Payne is passionate about boating and has been involved with Hunton Powerboats for over 15 years, which means he has a thorough and in-depth knowledge of Hunton's boats.
Payne's business background is as a broker in the Lloyd's aviation insurance market for almost 20 years and more recently running his own company.
Owen Smith has joined HenriLloyd as marine development manager looking after all aspects of range development for Henri-Lloyd's sailing and crew wear collections.
Smith is a sales and marketing specialist with a background in product development gained from working in a broad range of outdoor industries for over thirty years.
Formerly sales and marketing director at Europa Sports, Smith gained experience in many aspects of the outdoor market especially skiing and mountaineering apparel.
He was a member of the consortium that purchased Lowe Alpine and Europa Sport in 1993, and was appointed product development and marketing director of Lowe Alpine, responsible for developing the brand internationally.
He is also a member of the UK government's technical textile initiative as an industrial adviser working with the DTI/BTTG and the leading textile universities in the UK - Manchester, Leeds and Heriot Watt, Edinburgh.
As a consultant to HenriLloyd since 2001, Smith played a key role in the development of Henri-Lloyd's highly successful TP clothing range, which won the 2001 DAME Award at METS.
He has been sailing for over 35 years and is also a keen mountaineer.
Andy Stockley has joined the board at Icom UK , joining his father Dave Stockley (chairman), his brother Bob Stockley (sales and marketing director) and Philip Hadler (managing director).
Stockley joined Icom UK in 1980 when it was called Thanet Electronics. He started working as a packer and went on to do a number of other jobs, which included modifying radios, adding radio crystals and entering radio frequencies.
He eventually moved into sales, which he still combines with his current job as sales office supervisor.
Stockley's role will develop in the future as he takes on other responsibilities.
John Muldowney has been appointed UK commercial sales manager at C-Map . Muldowney has a wide range of sales and marketing experience in the UK and European markets, most recently as sales and marketing manager with Marconi Marine and will now head the expansion of C-map's electronic chart business in the UK shipping market.
Chris Atterton has been appointed manager of Walton Marine's new Brighton Marina Boat Sales office.
Atterton has spent the last 16 years as head of MDL's Thames marinas and has gained extensive experience in boat sales, marina operations and after sales service.
