TeleflexMorse sets up European centre

Based in Basildon, Essex, the centre will hold stocks of mechanical steering, controls, cables, accessories, etc, for the TeleflexMorse European distribution network.
Martin Harding, EU programme manager for TeleflexMorse, says it is vital to provide the fastest and most efficient service.
"The European marine distribution centre creates a single point of contact for all our European distributors, " he said. "With such a huge range of products now available from the TeleflexMorse Group, it provides the most efficient way of servicing orders quickly and cost effectively." Distributors can place multiple orders at one location, he added, packaging and distribution is more efficient, and all invoicing takes place in euros.
The TeleflexMorse European marine distribution centre opened in March, with a threephase launch plan aimed at bringing in all products by August 2003.
