Communication Aerials also supply V-Tronix security products, including outboard locks, and says it has two exceptionally strong locks that cover all outboards from 2hp to 300hp.
The small model fits 2hp to 30hp and is fastened using thumb screws/toggles. The larger lock is for motors above 30hp which are fitted to boats with nuts on transom bolts.
The locks are made from 2mm and 4mm stainless steel and the company says each lock has an extra strong bolt and lock mechanism with two keys.
The locks are approved by insurance companies and VTronix reckons they are probably the strongest and offer the highest security over any device on the market.
The locks retail at £87.85 and 89.95, including VAT.
