Swivelling pedestal creates room

According to Plastimo, in future years, the Goiot swivelling steering wheel as currently mounted on the Beneteau-Oceanis 2004 series will stand as a benchmark in the design evolution of steering gears.
The company says its steering pedestal originates from a patented design by naval architect Jean Berret for Beneteau, and has been developed and engineered by Goiot.
By swivelling through 90infinity, it improves access to the cockpit and help free movement in the area around the bathing platform.
