Your Letters ISO accreditation

Dear Sir, I read with interest your February article stating Musto's claim to be the first member of the European marine industry to hold the ISO 9001:2000 certificate.
Gul was awarded the European ISO 9001:2000 accreditation in November 2003.
When the ISO 9000 scheme was launched we decided it was essential for the company to hold this accreditation and for our good practise to be recognised. Gul began the process of ISO 9000 accreditation in March 1998 and was certified complaint in March 1999. In March 2000 Gul achieved ISO 9001:1994 accreditation which was awarded again in 2001 and 2002.
Congratulations must go to Musto for meeting the undoubtedly exacting ISO 9001:2-standards, but they are not alone!
