IMDA

jerrymartin@globalmarinenetwork.com As the world continues to shrink, and the marvels of the electronic communications age continue, more companies continue to search for "matches" in new markets where the marine industry expands, searching for new growth.
Our latest new IMDA members illustrate this phenomenon. They are located all over the world - and they realise they aren't an island to themselves.
All are firmly entrenched in our industry, believing that their best opportunity, the next time, may come from a country far away.
Here they are:
Calabria Boats (IMDA Email: info@calabriaboats.
com), a ski and wakeboard boat from the USA looking for UK and international dealers;
MarineDiesel , Sweden, (Email: info@marinediesel.nu), rugged new diesel engines marinised from the Hummer block, for engine distributors and OEMs;
Fibrafort Boats , (IMDA Email: alan@fibrfort.com.br), a Brazil boat company looking at USA, UK and Europe markets;
Seahawk Pty from Australia, (IMDA E-mail:
info@seahawk.com.au) a feathering prop line for big sailboats;
MASMarine , Hong Kong, (IMDA E-mail:
fh-kwan@masmarine.com) a veteran parts distributor, and boat retailer;
New Zealand's Jimik Hull Super Scrub , (IMDA E-mail:
john@wibl.co.nz), desiring to open markets in the UK and worldwide.
Quite a few IMDA members have developed new buying or selling connections. Of these, IMDA has helped many by opening the doors to new business.
There is plenty of room for more.
Finally, IMDA is actively promoting the new BOAT ASIA 2004 trade show in Singapore, April 15 to 18. A professional show in this growing market - at last!
