Cost effective for the DIY installer

Eberspacher says its heaters may not be the cheapest on the market, but they are the most cost effective for the competent DIY installer.

They say Eberspacher products are far more comprehensive in kit form than any other competing products, saving the installer many hours searching for or preparing components to complete the task.

Eberspacher says its new Airtronic 2.2kW and 4.0kW air heaters and Hydronic 4.0kW and 5.0kW water heaters offer higher outputs, greater efficiency, compact size, greater installation flexibility, lower eight, even better value for money and a two year warranty.

The Airtronic heaters have low power consumption - only 23 watts on high heat and 8 watts on low heat for the D2 and 24 watts on high heat and 7 watts on low heat for the D4.

Fuel consumption, says Eberspacher, is also low - 0.23 litres/hr on high and 0.10 litres/hour on low for the D2 and 0.38 litres/hr on high and 0.14 litres/hr on low for the D4.

All Airtronic models are fitted with automatic variable heat controlled and now include the 701 Series digital time modulator that enable the unit to be programmed just like the central heating system at home. It can also be programmed to switch on to heat the boat in time for the owner's arrival. An optional extra is a Calltronic mobile phone switching system.

The D4 and D5 Hydronic heaters automatically regulate between 50 watts on high and 23 watts on loe heat. Fuel consumption is 0.62 litres/hr on the D5 and 0.53 litre/hr on the D4 on the high setting and both have a low consumption of 0.27 litres/hr on the low setting.
