The Queen Mary 2

Jotun got the contract for the coatings on the QM2, the largest, longest, tallest, widest and most expensive passenger liner ever.

The 150,000-tonne ship is more than 1,100 feet long and is built to carry more than 2,600 passengers.

She boasts a 570-seat cinema, a ballroom, 10 restaurants and a nightclub. She is also one of the most environmentally friendly ships in the world.

The QM2's bottom is protected by Jotamastic 87 Aluminium epoxymastic coating, followed by Sealercoat Safeguard Universal and SeaQuantum Plus' tin-free antifouling.

Jotun says its SeaQuantum antifoulings are believed to be the world's most advanced tin-free formulations and are based on a safe silyl polymer and incorporating environmentally acceptable active ingredients.
