Tin-free coating targets superyachts

SuperNavi is an antifouling targeted at the ever more lucrative superyacht market.

The paint is the result of an agreement between the US company Pettit Marine Paint of Rockaway, New Jersey, and the Italian Boero Marine Group of Genoa, Italy, and is described as a complete underwater system.

The coating is tin-free and includes ablative and hard antifouling paints that incorporate a slime resisting formula.

The line will be branded under the Boero name and will, says Rockaway, be available all over the world.
