Looking for a sign
01 Feb 2004
Never good at the best of times, both Paul Streeter and Murray Ellis, respectively managing director and operations director of NBS, told me Red Ken was the man at fault here.
However, I was told there was hope on the horizon as the show date approached and that some AA signs were going to be allowed.
On my last trip to ExCeL before the show started, I saw one sign.
Yet I was assured the next day that "it would be all right on the night" by Paul Streeter.
Streeter says more work will be done with the local authorities before next year's show in an effort to emphasise the business 200,000 people can bring to the area.
