Where are the boats?
01 Feb 2004
A few people made the point that visitors had to walk a long way before they saw any boats. The solitary Sunseeker outside the west entrance looked just that - an afterthought with no razzmatazz to get the juices flowing.
Some exhibitors reckoned they could walk all the way to their stand without passing a boat. But visitors saw boats as soon as they walked into Earls Court.
And if we can't have boats in the entrance hall or central boulevard, a few BIG pictures of boats, sun, sea and spray would help set the scene.
