Published by Coastal Living Ltd, a sister company to Madforsport Ltd, publishers of Sailing Today , the title will be aimed at 30-45 year olds who have traded their high stress inner-city lifestyles for a better - and calmer - quality of life by the sea.
Publisher Tony Harris says: "For the past 10 years, a growing number of people, have chosen to move out of cities to the coast, " said publisher Tony Harris. "Many of our readers have young families. They enjoy entertaining and live an active outdoor lifestyle and appreciate the better quality of life that living by the sea enables their families to enjoy."
Over three million people live in Britain's principal seaside towns, he added, and a further 360,000 have recently moved to the coast.
"The green wellies and Land Rover set have Country Life ; now the deck shoes and Cherokee Jeep tribe have their own magazine, Coast, " says Harris.
