A Special Mention in the "Deck equipment, sails and rigging" category went to Lewmar for its folding steering wheel.
This is an off-the-shelf version of its custom folding wheel, which prices it for a much wider market. The spokes are held together by a "two-turn buttress-thread with a fast-action handgrip release".
