Making light work of a Special Mention

Ocean Safety got a Special Mention in the "Life saving and safety equipment" category for its AQ180 lifebuoy light.
A SOLAS/Shipswheel approved self-activating light, the AQ180 combines a compact casing with an extra-large dome that projects the light over a wide area. It conforms to IMO Res MSC.81 (70) as amended.
"A thoughtfully designed alternative to the sometimes poor products at the cheaper end of this market sector, " said the DAME judges.
