Largs Yacht Haven celebrates 20 years

Largs Yacht Haven celebrated its 20th year in business by taking 650 customers and staff on an evening cruise around the River Clyde on the Paddle Steamer Waverely on June 19, writes Mike Balmforth.

The Yacht Haven was created in 1984 from a greenfield site and now berths over 670 yachts with over 100 full time jobs created on site.

The Yacht Haven offers full marine services throughout the year and also hosts the RYA Scottish Sailing Institute, running national and international events.

Largs is part of the Yacht Haven Group, which owns and operates 2500 marina berths around the UK.
