Combination solar and battery vent

If you can't sell someone the full aircon, try Aqua Marine's Nicro active ventilation. Aqua Marine tells us it equalises humidity level inside and outside the boat: it's only when there's a humidity level difference that condensation forms.
And that condensation can create the ideal atmosphere for fungi and various moulds that damage fabrics, electronics and metals components.
Aqua Marine's Nicro vents come as 12V or solar powered, or as passive vents that rely on wind movement to circulate the air.
The most powerful is the PowerVent 3000 shown here. It uses a combination of solar and battery power to move 24cu m of air an hour, round the clock.
A shut-off damper keeps the water out at sea and an on-off switch stops operation while keeping the battery charging process going.
