Gill introduces 21st Century Speedskins

Originally designed for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and worn by Team GBR sailors Gill Speedskins have been reintroduced to Gill's specialist dinghy sailing product line-up.

Gill says unlike neoprene, its Speedskin is breathable, so it is more comfortable worn all day either on its own in warm conditions or as a snug thermal layer when it's colder.

The company says its 21st Century Speedskin is made from a stretch PBT fabric, which won't break down in high exposure to UV or salt water, and is laminated to a hydrophilic waterproof and breathable membrane.

This is then sandwiched to a polypropylene fleece lining that sheds water very quickly reducing weight and is quick drying.

Available in carbon/grey/ black in sizes S-XL, RRP £100.00.
