Marine Trade Show "selling out"

According to organisers National Boat Show (NBS), 80% of the space at the 2004 Marine Trade Show is already sold.

The show, that runs at the popular Windsor Racecourse venue on October 19 and 20, is now in its seventh year and is gaining strength all the time.

"Exhibitors are committing to space at the show much earlier than in previous years, " said Nick Bowkett, NBS sales manager. "They are not only keen to secure their attendance but are also requesting additional stand space, ensuring a greater presence when they get there. This is a really encouraging response."

The Marine Trade Show is the UK's premier international marine leisure equipment and services event. With exhibitors and key buyers from both home and overseas, NBS says the show offers great networking opportunities and an unrivalled marketing platform.

Last year's show introduced a special incentive for visitors in the Special Discount Cheque Book offering trade visitors great deals. NBS says this year's show will repeat the offer and a great many exhibitors have already signed up to take part in the Cheque Book incentive.

The annual Boating Business/ BMF Gala Dinner will take place on Tuesday 19 October.

The MTA Retailer of the Year Award - sponsored by BB - will be presented at the dinner.

There will also be the usual programme of seminars on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

Companies wishing to exhibit at the Marine Trade Show should contact Nick Bowkett at NBS on 01784 473377 or email nbowkett@britishmarine.co.uk Exhibitors wishing to take part in the free cheque book discount scheme should contact Ashika Patel on 01784 473377 or email apatel@britishmarine. co. uk
