Whittley Cruisers , (IMDA Email: whittley@ocean.com.au), Australia's 50-year veteran builder of entry level outboard and sterndrive family weekender boats, has established Matrix Marine International Ltd from Plymouth as its new UK importer-distributor.
The dealer organisation is being formed now and first showing of the sleek Aussie 6 to 8 meter cruiser line is scheduled for the Southampton Boat Show in September.
Anytec Marine AB and their Sublift (IMDA E-mail: lars-erik@anytec.se) from Oregrund, Sweden, is now represented in the UK by Roger Nadin of Wave Seven , (IMDA Email: sales@wseven.com), in Cheltenham. The Swedish tech company is after the same market as the travelling lift-type equipment.
Anytec claims advantages in ease of moving big craft, as well as space-saving and safety advantages. The Anytec units are remotely controlled and operate underwater for as long as two hours on a diving bell principle.
Roger Nadin has also installed his initial Connect-A-Dock (IMDA E-mail: Ryan@SSI-IA.com) shoreside dock facility for Canal boats, with several more in the offing.
Connect-A-Dock is from Iowa in the USA.
Zeppelin's Marine Inc . , (IMDA E-mail: dave@sportport.com) SportPort's popular drive-on system for launching and docking personal watercraft, also seeks distribution outlets in the UK. A winner in the US market, the easyto-install units are also great for drive-on docking of jet boats, too.
The non-skid deck provides stable footing and the system is a great do-it-yourself project for unused partial corners or walkways in marinas.
Calabria Boats (IMDA Email:
info@calabriaboats.com) is focusing on the UK market to establish an aggressive dealer organisation.
