The systems, which are sold under the Cruisair and Marine Air brand names, use environ-mentally benign R-417A refrigerant gas complying with the provisions of EC Regulation 2037/2000.
The product lines encompass a broad range of self-contained and remote condensing unit "split gas" systems, including both cooling-only and reversecycle heat pump models ranging from 5,000 to 24,000 BTU.
The R-417A products have been developed in close cooperation with compressor manufacturers and thoroughly tested on a variety of boats and configurations to make certain they meet our rigorous standards for quality and performance, said the company.
