Sandhaven Harbour regeneration?

There were once over 100 fishing vessels based at Sandhaven, but today it is empty, although Fraserburgh, Scotland's biggest fishing port, lies just two miles to the east, writes Mike Balmforth.
Sandhaven & Pitullie Harbour Trust has been formed to create a marine leisure facility. The trust has made a start by building a new slipway and now seeks development partners to make the rest of the plan, which includes shore based visitor facilities and a yacht marina, a reality.
The harbour is the ideal landfall after a North Sea passage and will without doubt attract both visiting yachts as well as local boat owners.
