Tall Ships return to Clyde?

Greenock is on to the short list to be one of the Ports of Call for the 2008 Tall Ships Race, but faces stiff competition from Belfast and Liverpool, writes Mike Balmforth.
The event last visited the port in 1999. The waterfront is now in even better shape, giving Inverclyde councillors and executives cause for cautious optimism that the port will be selected.
